What is a quack? By Quack we are here referring to someone who is pretending be competent/ knowledgable/ authorised to dispense medical advice and knowingly or otherwise is giving bogus information.
The following site is named Quackwatch. They aim to be "Your Guide to Quackery, Health Fraud, and Intelligent Decisions" It is US oriented. Stephen Barrett, M.D the editor of the site really seems to be a a campaign against quackery.
